Don’t Get Stuck

It was one of those weekends where I feel I am in need of another weekend to recover from the one I just had. I spent a lot of time in the sun yesterday and am feeling it now. Sad but true, vacationers get to the beach more than I do and I live so close to it!

As I was walking along the shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico yesterday I was people watching as I love to do. There were people riding jet ski’s, swimming, fishing, playing Frisbee, volleyball, and your occasional jogger. I also like watching the seagulls, and as I was admiring the water come onto the shore over the sand and sea shells, I then noticed a hypodermic needle! Luckily I had a tissue in my pocket, and there was a waste receptacle nearby, so I daintily grabbed it with the tissue and threw it away.

Well! I am not one to run around the beach without my shoes on, but looking around, there are several people who do! Now this is a gorgeous, pristine beach compared to those I have seen on Florida’s East coast. It just goes to show you that no matter where you are bad people sometimes go where good ones do!

Speaking of hypodermic needles, someone just tried robbing a pharmacy here in Tampa claiming that he had an HIV infected needle. He was caught on the pharmacy’s surveillance cameras, posted on the news and captured as someone recognized him in the hoodie he was wearing. He had robbed three other pharmacies a few months before!

Sometimes it’s best to get some sun in your back yard. You can’t live in Florida and not have a pool! Well, we take care of it ourselves, but some of our neighbors have pool services that come out and tend to their pools when they’re at work. Before we had put up our surveillance cameras, we came home once only to find that someone had moved some things from underneath a window in our back yard as if they were going to break into it. They quite possibly could have fled when they heard us get home. Let them try to do that now!

We have Day/Night Cameras with 60 Infrared LED’s on each corner of our home. The quality is absolutely amazing! You can see up to 60 feet in total darkness. If a crook sees cameras around your home, he’s going to move onto the next. If he’s dumb enough not to, you will at least help get them off the streets because you’ll have an excellent quality video to give to the police. Let’s help keep ourselves and loved ones safe.
